Young Azerbaijani checkers player claims European crown

Azerbaijan`s Ulkar Babanli has grabbed gold medal in the European Youth Championship in Russian draughts in Pinsk, Belarus.

Babanli secured the medal after scoring 12 points.

The tournament brought together 149 checker players from 8 countries.
