Everybody becomes bored very easily in this day and age. We all want to be entertained rather than being pro-active in our endeavors. This leads to problems with keeping fit, we must use variety - "variety is the spice of life". Variation in exercise, movement, will help speed up the process of getting a result!

The Club Port Baku has over 20 different classes and offers variation from all aspects of fitness. Boot camp is a great definition of variety, running, weights, and core exercises combined into a group exercise environment.

A basic prerequisite for adaptation is variation. These subtle training alterations inhibit the exhaustion stage. As a beginner, progress can be made most every workout. Variation is inherent due to relatively rapid progress in the initial phases of training depending on the initial Level of Fitness. As progress slows, subtle variations must be made in other ways for progress to continue (see variation examples below).

Beginners

Resistance training

Performs additional repetition(s) most workouts

Progressing from 8 to 12 reps

Resistance is increased after 12 reps are achieved
