Azerbaijani judo athlete enters among three strongest in Brasilia World Champ

Azerbaijani Judaist Orkhan Safarov weighing in at the 60 kg has grabbed bronze medal at the World judo Championship, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia.

Another Azerbaijani judo fighter Ilgar Mushkiyev has defeated Armenian sportsman at the championship.

The tournament brought together 680 Judaists from 123 countries.

The winner of the tournament was Mongolia, while Japan grabbed the 2nd place.
