Azerbaijani wrestlers claimed three European gold

Junior European Wrestling Championship started in Bar, Montenegro. Freestyle wrestlers vying in 5 category climbed to the mat on the first day of the contest. Four Azerbaijani athletes claimed medals
 
Three wrestlers of Azerbaijani team reached the championship final. Mahammadali Aliyev (58 kg) defeated the Turkish athlete Salim Kozan. Abdulsalim Muhuddinov (69 kg) made the Armenian Tigran Mnachakanyan to anticipatorily surrender, and other Azerbaijani wrestler Nurmahammad Hajiyev (85 kg)  emerged victorious over the Turkish Enesh Altun.  While Mahir Amiraslanov claimed the bronze medal after winning over the Romanian Barn Martan.
