Mourinho: I broke Barca dominance

Jose Mourinho was presented this Monday as Chelsea's new manager. And in the process he expressed his happiness at returning to Stamford Bridge nine years on. Whilst he described himself as 'The Special One' when he first joined Chelsea, this time he changed his description to 'The Happy One'.

"If I have to describe myself, I would describe myself as a very happy person because it's the first time I arrive at a club where I already love the club", Mourinho said. On the topic of success, he explained: "I always trust my work. I know many people who belong to the club and I know the type of mentality and ambition people have".

"I 'damaged' Spanish football by being the manager that broke Barcelona dominance", was the ironic response he made to recent comments from Andrés Iniesta. The Barça midfielder had said that he didn't want to talk about Mou, who he referred to as a "case", because of the "damage" he'd done to Spanish football during his three years in charge of Madrid.
