Azerbaijani gymnasts to join Grand Prix tournament in Israel

Azerbaijani athletes will complete in the 2013 Grand Prix of Rhythmic Gymnastics Series which kicks off in Holon, Israel, Friday.

Azerbaijan`s squad includes Lala Yusifova, Aisha Mustafaeva and Jala Pirieva.
Over 250 gymnasts from 23 countries will participate in the tournaments which are to be held at Katzir Sport Center in Holon.

The Grand Prix of Rhythmic Gymnastics is an important and prestigious series of tournaments hosted by eight major cities in Europe. Israel is the only country outside Europe where the Grand Prix takes place.

Among the participating countries are Russia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Spain, Finland, Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Czech Republic, Poland and others.
