New judo center to appear in Baku – PHOTOS

As reported earlier, new Judo Center is to be constructed in Azerbaijan. Yesterday, Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov, President of the National Judo Federation Fizuli Alakparov and its representatives, President of the Azerbaijan Paralympic Committee Ilgar Rahimov, famous athletes and others attended the ceremony to lay the foundation of the center .
 
The center is built in the Narimanov district of Baku, has an area of 4,500 square meters. The center will be designed for 2,000 spectators. This complex will also include an eight-storey hotel, hospital, laboratory, physiotherapy center and a wellness center, a restaurant, a gym and a spa center. The center is planned to be commissioned by late 2014.
