Dario Simic to support U17 Women’s World Cup in Baku

Famous player, a veteran footballer from Croatia Dario Simic will arrive to Baku to support the 2012 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup holding in Azerbaijan between 22 September and 13 October. During his two-day visit, Simic will watch the friendly matches between Azerbaijan U17 Women’s and Georgian U17 Women’s in Dalga Arena in AFFA Football Centre.

Note that Dario Simic played for Dinamo Zagreb in 1992-1998 and helped the club to win Croatian title five times and Croatian Cup four times. In 1998 he went on to join Internazionale and played for Italian club four years. In 2002 Dario transferred to AC Milan. In 2008 Simic moved to AS Monaco. Dario Simic won Italian title, Italian Cup as well as Italian Super Cup. He also won UEFA Champions League twice, UEFA Super Cup twice and FIFA Clubs World Cup. Simic also played for Croatian national team and won FIFA World Cup bronze medals in 1998.
