‘Unmanned trains’ will appear in Baku Metro

Baku Metro will launch new unmanned trains in the future, Baku Metro deputy chief Arif Rasulov said. These trains will be brought in the country in 7-8 years. "Today, we have another task- construction of new stations and the second exits to the stations of Elmler Akademiyasi, Nizami,  Icherisheher and Sahil. We work hard in this regard,” he said.  Based on the Baku Metro Development Plan, the number of subway lines will be increased to 5, number of stations - 76 and total length of routes -119 km in 2030.
