Traffic movement can be limited in Baku’s several areas

The Baku City Central Police Office has developed a plan of measures to protect public order and ensure the public security in the capital in connection with Ashura events, Office Chief, Police Colonel Sahlab Bagirov said.  

He said all security measures were taken in the places where the Ashura events will be held in Baku. “The additional police guards are appointed for protection of public order and security in all mosques and sanctuaries of Baku. The measures will be taken for the prevention of violation of legal norms in the places of religious events. We will not interfere in religious ceremonies. We hope that the residents will not permit the illegal acts, and complete the Ashura Day in stable regime”.

Bagirov said the office would also tighten security measures tomorrow, the traffic movement will be regulated in the capital. The necessary forces were allocated by the State Traffic Police for the purpose of ensuring the traffic movement in Baku. The traffic movement can be restrained in some places in connection with the events”.
