
Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic intend to sign an agreement on cooperation in tourism. The Czech ambassador to Azerbaijan Radek Matula invited Azerbaijani Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev to pay the official visit to the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism told Trend on Friday. Garayev accepted the invitation.
Ambassador Matula proposed to sign an agreement on cooperation in tourism within the visit.The sides discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation in the cultural sphere between Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic. They focused on such topics as dynamic development and joint participation in international projects. Minister proposed to sign the bilateral agreement on culture between the relevant agencies of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic.
Garayev invited the Czech tourist companies to take part in the Azerbaijan International Travel and Tourism Exhibition, annually held in Baku in April. Matula expressed his confidence that cooperation in tourism and culture between the two countries will more expand.
