Corruption facts disclosed in Azerbaijan

The Anti-Corruption Department operating under the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office completed the investigation of 128 criminal cases against 211 persons, the office reported.

The office reports that systematic measures are taken for the prevention of such dangerous appearances of organized crime like corruption and abuse of office. The investigation of 128 criminal cases against 211 persons was completed and the investigative materials were sent to the court. The cases are related to bribery, unlawful interference in the decision of officials, abuse of office, swindle, money laundering and others.  The prosecutor’s office continues the investigation of 83 corruption cases.
