Family, women and children problems mulled in Baku

Chairperson of Azerbaijan`s State Committee on Problems of Family, Woman and Child Hijran Huseynova met with Deputy Prosecutor at the Paris Public Prosecutor`s Office Mrs. Francoise Guyot and director of Victimology Institute of France Gérard Lopez, who are on a visit in Baku.

Hijran Huseynova provided information on main directions of state policy on family, women and children problems. She also stressed the special attention of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev to this sphere.Azeri chairwoman highlighted First Lady of Azerbaijan, president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva`s activity on protection of family values, increasing of women`s social status and development of children.

Mrs. Huseynova underlined the significance of boosting cooperation with relevant bodies of other countries, especially France.French officials praised the policy implementing in Azerbaijan stressing the progress achieved in gender equality. The sides exchanged views on the issues of mutual interest.
