Czech delegation visits Baku State University

The delegation of the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague visited Baku State University (BSU) where they met rector of BSU, MP, academician Abel Maharramov. The Czech delegation included vice-rector for research and development Milan Pospisil, head of international relations department Hana Opatová, head of department of Biochemistry and Microbiology, Professor Katerina Demnerova.

According to BSU`s press and information department, Abel Maharramov provided information on the university`s activity and foreign relations.Milan Pospisil said that the Institute of Chemical Technology is interested in cooperation with the BSU in oil and nanotechnology spheres.

The sides reached an agreement on preparation of a memorandum of understanding in researcher, student and teacher exchange, participation in joint projects and programs.
Vice-rector for International Relations of BSU Shalala Mammadova and dean of Biology Department Akif Guliyev attended the meeting. The Czech professors also familiarized themselves with laboratory and scientific facilities of the university.
