Non-academic organizations will be moved from Baku academy town in 2012

Non-academic organizations will be moved from the Academy Town in 2012, President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Mahmud Karimov said.

He said they held talks with the National Security Ministry concerning the Ministry's Strategic Studies Center. “They are aware of the presidential order for moving of non-academic organizations from the Academy Town. This order should be executed, but it needs a time because this organization should be provided with a new building. Probably they will move by late 2011," he said.  Karimov said the State Register Service had also some problems with moving, but they promised to move.

Regarding the Moscow State University branch, Karimov said that this organization had some relation to the ANAS and it could stay in the Academy Town.
