UN praises activity carried out in Azerbaijan towards solution to problems of family, women and children

Chairwoman of Azerbaijan`s State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Hijran Huseynova met with the UN Resident-Coordinator in Azerbaijan Fikret Akchura and director of the UN Development Programme regional office of Europe and CIS countries Kori Udovichki.

Huseynova briefed the UN officials on the Committee`s activity and works done in the relevant sphere. She especially pointed out importance of the projects realized on the initiative of President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva.  US representatives highly praised activity carried out in the country towards solution to the problems of family, women and children.
