ANAMA director visits NATO headquarters

Director of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA) Nazim Ismayilov visited NATO headquarters in Brussels on November 16 to hold consultations on ending of Trust Fund Project on NATO-Azerbaijan Saloglu Partnership for Peace (PfP) Program and launching the new one – Trust Fund Project on Ceyranchol PfP, Azerbaijani Rerresentation to NATO said.

Nazim Ismayilov held a series of meetings with NATO officials, attended the working dinner organized in the level of ambassadors by the Azerbaijani Representation to NATO. He held a briefing at the US Permanent Representation to NATO for the experts of the NATO International Secretariat and member and partner countries focusing attention on Ceyranchol project. He informed the activity of ANAMA. NATO officials highly appreciated the ANAMA’s operations outside the country, as well as its contribution to the improvement of capabilities of Afghanistan and Georgia in this field.

On Thursday, Nazim Ismayilov visited headquarters of the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) in Luxembourg. He held detailed technical consultations with NAMSA officials about the above-mentioned projects.
