Azerbaijan sends 10 more aid trucks for quake-affected people in Turkey

Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan has sent 10 aid trucks for the quake-affected people in Van province of Turkey.

Turkish media reported that trucks are loaded with food products and half-finished houses.

The aid trucks were sent to Van through Igdir.

Igdir representative of Azerbaijan’s Kars Consulate General Rafig Rustamov told local journalists that the aid sent from Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is worth $65 000. Rustamov said he himself will also leave for Van.

“We are fraternal countries, we will continue sending aids,” he said.
