Azerbaijan’s next aid convoy reaches quake-hit province of Turkey

The aid convoy, sent to Turkey’s quake-hit province of Van by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan according to the order of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, reached Van.

The Ministry’s website reported that 150 tents and 200 bedsteads were sent for the quake-sufferers in Van region.

It is the third aid convoy sent to Turkey from Azerbaijan. Earlier 1250 tents, 700 sleeping gears, 5 000 blankets, 40 generators, 40 kitchen utensils and two field kitchens were sent to the disaster zone. At the same time, the representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said the Azerbaijani rescuers rescued 12 people, pulled 60 bodies from the rubbles.
