Explosion in Azerbaijani secondary school, one injured

An explosion took place in a secondary school in Baku, Khazar district police said.

The incident occurred in the secondary school No 234 in Buzovna village of Baku’s Khazar district. Pupil of the 11th form, 17-year-old Ibadov Mami Tayyar was injured and hospitalized.

Police said there was no gas pipe in the school and reasons of the explosion are still unknown.

Experts of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working at the site.
