
A firearm, which had been sought for more than 20 years, was found by Azerbaijani law-enforcement bodies in Kulsari city of Atirau region, Kazakhstan, Kazinform agency reported.
TOZ-8 rifle and 96 cartridges were revealed during operative-preventive operation, conducted in house of one of the residents of Kulsari city. The investigations determined that the firearm was not registered at the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan.
Next searches revealed that the weapon is at the database of Kazakhstan’s interior affairs bodies on criminal weapons. That weapon was declared wanted since 1990 on the basis of Lankaran Police Office’s questionnaire.
