Armed incident happened at wedding party in Azerbaijan’s Balaken region, bride and groom injured

An armed incident happened at a wedding party in Balaken, the region police office said.

It happened in Ititala village of the region last night. At the wedding party of Novruz Mustafayev, 31, and Khalisat Gurbanova, 18, the groom’s brother Jalal Mustafayev fired a gun into the air. The bride and groom were injured and taken to Balaken central hospital.

According to initial reports, it happened because of negligence. The fact is being investigated.
