
British Council plans to implement new projects in Azerbaijan to improve skills of English teachers, press service of the Ministry of Education said. Director of British Council Office in Azerbaijan Paul Clementson informed Minister of Education Misir Mardanov about the projects in their meeting attended also by the UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Bateman.
Clementson spoke about the plans of extension of cooperation between his organization and the Ministry of Education.
Mardanov said there was great interest to English in the secondary schools of Azerbaijan. He said the projects proposed by the Azerbaijan English Teachers Association (AzETA) for the development of relations between the two countries, as well as extension of its activity in all regions are expedient measures.
