Intelligence officers’ training courses organized in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan Voluntary Patriotic Technical Sports Society will organize training courses for the intelligence officers, the Society’s chairman, Major-General Novruzali Orujov said.

Orujov said the young people reached service age could attend the training courses. Necessary work is done for the opening these courses and an officer served in the task forces will lead the courses.

Attendants will get lessons necessary for the intelligence officers. They will get skills of masking, use of different arms, methods of close fight, fulfillment of intelligence tasks.

“One of the singularities of these courses will be the use of voiceless weapons, specially arbalests. We have already ordered arbalests with 40-50 meters range”, said General Orujov.

He said most of the drafted young people wished to be an intelligence officer and therefore we decided to open such courses.

The enrollment will be based on voluntarism.

Orujov said the Society have already opened the courses of driving, snipers and field engineers.
