Numbers of marriages and divorces increase by 7.9% and 1.4% in Azerbaijan

Number of marriages in Azerbaijan increased by 7.9%, during January-September, 2011.

According to State Statistical Committee, at the same time, the number of divorces rose 1.4% to 8,000, during the same period.

Official state bodies recorded 61,600 marriages and 8,000 divorce, during the accounting period.
