Azerbaijani soldier injures himself during military exercise

A soldier of Azerbaijani Army injured himself during the military exercises.

The incident took place at the shooting range in Mushfig settlement near Baku. Soldier of the Internally Troops, 19-year-old Elkhan Sharifkhan Aliyev injured himself as a result of careless handling of weapon.

Spokeswoman of the Internal Troops Tarana Mammadova said that the incident occurred as a result of violation of safety rules. The soldier was wounded in shoulder and hospitalized. Doctors said he was in stable condition.

Elkhan Aliyev was called by the Military Commissariat of Siyazan region.
