The Embassy did not receive information about the affected citizens of Azerbaijan in the earthquake in Turkey

Azerbaijani embassy in Turkey to date not received any information about the affected citizens of Azerbaijan in the earthquake, consul Shohrat Mustafayev said on Sunday.

Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara and the consulate-general in Kars run enhanced mode and are in close contact with the citizens of Azerbaijan, who work or study in the province of Van, where the earthquake occurred. According to information received from them and from the local authorities' data, among the victims there are no citizens of Azerbaijan, said the consul.
