The expansion of Baku Boulevard

The major part of the work for the expansion of Baku Boulevard towards the National Flag Square has been realized, the boulevard's office under the Cabinet of Ministers informed.

"The main difficult part of the work for the expansion of the Seaside Park has been finished. The remaining work is to lay the green band," deputy director of the office Nazim Madjidov said.

According to him, among the trees to be planted on the green line will be those brought from foreign countries.

The expansion of the boulevard towards the State Flag Square is planned to finish before international song contest "Eurovision-2012" set in Baku.

The expansion work should be finished in March next year, Madjidov added.  The work has been running for two years. In future, it will be stretched up to Zig settlement.
