Romania marks 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan's independence

Romania has marked the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan's state independence, the State Committee on Diaspora told Trend on Monday.

The event was held in accordance with a presidential decree on the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Azerbaijan's state independence.

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania Eldar Hasanov told the audience about the history of Azerbaijan's statehood, the country's integration into Euro-Atlantic bodies, the active humanitarian activity of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation's office in Romania, the publication of more than 50 books about Azerbaijan in the Romanian language.
