Only 33 Azerbaijani city and region executive authorities have websites

Only 33 Azerbaijani city and region executive authorities, including Baku, have websites with domain –ih.gov.az. The website of the city of Baku is http://www.bakucity.az, 32 regions and cities have websites with the domain –ih.gov.az, websites of 29 regions and cities are under construction.

http://www.absheron.gov.az is the website of Absheron region executive authority.

The regions occupied by Armenians have no websites (with the exception of Aghdam). Goygol region executive authority does not have a website, either.

Though Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has official website (http://www.nakhchivan.az), the regions of the Autonomous Republic have no websites.

According to article 32 of the Law of Azerbaijan Republic on “Obtaining information”, the executive authorities are tasked with creating internet information resources.
