Misir Mardanov: Teachers’ salary is very low in Azerbaijan

“Teachers’ salary is very low in Azerbaijan. Therefore, pedagogical education is not considered prestigious,” Education Minister Misir Mardanov said.

Minister said teacher has no high status in Azerbaijan. “Teachers’ work is very hard, but their salary is low,” he said.

Misir Mardanov said a new school requires employees with new style of thinking.
