Education law may be amended in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani MP has proposed amending the education law.

The compulsory pre-school education of children under 5 must be removed. This creates several problems, MP Govhar Bakhshaliyeva said.

She said there are only a few kindergartens in the country, and not all children can attend them.

There is a problem with kindergartens in rural areas, Bakhshaliyeva said.
