International symposium dedicated to 110th anniversary of first-ever school for girls in Muslim Orient starts in Baku

An international scientific symposium dedicated to the 110th anniversary of establishment of first-ever school for girls in Muslim Orient has today started here. The symposium was organized by ANAS National Azerbaijan History Museum and supported by State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.

The aim of the event is to popularize Azerbaijani women`s role in social, political and cultural life of the country, as well as their education history. The symposium is attending by representatives from Turkey, Egypt, Ukraine, Georgia, Russia and other countries.
