Parliament to discuss draft law on protection of genetic resources and efficient use of cultivated plants

Parliament of Azerbaijan will discuss a draft law on protection of genetic resources and efficient use of cultivated plants, the parliament said.

The parliament’s committee on agrarian affairs discussed the draft law and recommended it to the plenary session.

The document describes the issues related to the protection of genetic resources of the cultivated plants and their wild ancestors, improvement of security of the country’s food, ecological and biological resources.
