Fire blazed up in Balakan hospital

Fire blazed up in a hospital in Balakan region of Azerbaijan, firefighting department of Balakan region informed.

The fire covered 450-sq.m subsidiary building of the hospital located in Gabagchol settlement of Balakan. Firefighting equipments and brigades were immediately involved at site. 90-sq.m area in the roof of the building and four rooms burnt down.

Firefighters could prevent the extension of fire into other areas of the subsidiary building and nearby wings of the hospital. No casualties were reported.

The fact is investigated.
