Mohammad Hosseini: Iran always supported Azerbaijan and will continue this strategy hereafter

Within the visit to Azerbaijan, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) Sayyid Mohammad Hosseini met with Deputy Prime Minister Elchin Efendiyev.

Press service of the IRI said that Hosseini said Iran was ready to share its experiences with Azerbaijan in all spheres, including culture, science, industry and construction.

Minister said that Iran has always supported Azerbaijan and underlined that it would continue this strategy hereafter. The documentary describing the life of the people turned into refugees and internally displaced persons as a result of Karabakh conflict was presented to Efendiyev. Hosseini said that Iran was ready to cooperate with Azerbaijani cinematographers.

In his turn, Efendiyev said that IRI was a powerful country, playing a decisive role in the political process in the region, as well as spoke about achievements in the fields of science and culture and said that he supported strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the fields of literature, art and cinematography.
