The State Oil Fund allocates AZN 15 mln this year for Azerbaijani youth to get education abroad

The State Oil Fund has allocated AZN 15 mln this year for Azerbaijani youth to get education abroad, said Deputy Education Minister Gulu Novruzov.

Deputy Minister said that that fund will be spent for the living, education, insurance and annual comings and goings expenses: “We have such students that ˆ 50000-60000 are spent during the year for their living and education expenses”.

Deputy Minister noted that that there about 10000 students who get education abroad. Most of them get education on account of their own fund. In general, there is a great interest in education abroad. This interest increased more after the start fulfilling the “State Program on education abroad in 2007-2015”.
