17-year-old teen killed in Lerik region of Azerbaijan

A murder was committed in Lerik region of Azerbaijan. Regional Prosecutor Salman Samadov said that the incident was recorded on the road led to Angovul village of Yardimli region.

Resident of Angovul, Mehdiyev Tayyar Aliaga, born in 1994, seriously hit resident of Sors village of Lerik, his contemporary Nagiyev Elnur Mirnasir, in head with stick. Nagiyev died on the way to hospital.

Mehdiyev was detained as a suspect.

The criminal case has been launched by Lerik Regional Prosecutor’s Office on the Criminal Code’s article ¹126.3, the investigation is underway.
