Baku to host international conference on Earth Sciences

The 4th international conference entitled “New Approaches and Achievements in Earth Sciences” for young scientists and students will be held here on October 5-6. According to the press service of the Institute, young scientists from Austria, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan and other countries are expected to participate in the conference.

The participators will make reports on their researches in different branches of Earth sciences.
Russian scientist, head of the department of dynamic geology of Moscow State University Nikolai Koronovskiy will deliver a report called “Earth: Past, today, future” in the second day of the conference.

The conference organized by the Geology Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) will be held with support of the Science Development Fund under Azerbaijani President and BP Company.
