Lithuania, Azerbaijan: National Academies to sign cooperation agreement

At the initiative of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Lithuania, the national academies of Lithuania and Azerbaijan are said to sign an agreement on scientific cooperation, Azerbaijan`s ambassador Naira Shahtakhtinskaya in Vilnius said.

The new document already prepared and coordinated by National Academies of both countries will, according to the Ambassador, promote closer cooperation of the scientists of countries.

The 5-year scientific cooperation envisions participation of the men of science in scientific researches, conferences, exchange of experience, presenting consultations, organizing lectures, as well as publication of monographs, scientific works and projects.
