IAEA representative for Azerbaijan to arrive in Baku

Representative of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for Azerbaijan Andrey Chupov will arrive in Baku in the next few days, Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems under the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences Adil Garibov said.

According to him, the concrete date of the visit has not been made public. The main purpose of the visit is to hold discussions on tender declared for purchasing equipments on construction of sterilization equipment in Azerbaijan.

Though the winner of the tender had to be declared in September, the IAEA postponed this process till November.
