Azerbaijani geologists attend international conference in India

Representatives of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) attended an international conference titled “Earth Dynamics - Perceptions and Deadlocks” in Kanyakumari, India. The event brought together scientists from US, Italia, Russia, Norway, Colombia, Iran, and Australia.

Earth`s internal dynamics, natural disasters and geological dangers, as well as, sun system and its impact to tectonic processes, and other issues were discussed during the conference. Department head of Geology Institute of ANAS Hatam Guliyev made two reports in the event.

ANAS representatives met with their Indian counterparts on the sidelines of the conference and discussed further cooperation opportunities.
