BSU expanding relations with Germany Universities

Head of the Baku State University (BSU), MM deputy, academician Abel Maharramov met with director of the Institute of Cell and Molecular Biology of the University of Manheim, Germany, member of Germany Accreditation Centre – Mathias Hafner and research team leader of the Heidelberg University Faculty of Medicine in Mannheim Ralph Jesenofski.

Academician A. Maharramov informed the visitors about the BSU development stages, international relations, cooperation with universities in Germany, and establishment of relations in medicine and biotechnology fields. The head of BSU also emphasized the importance of the preparation of joint programs and projects.

The visitors got acquainted with BSU’s Immunology Laboratory of the Faculty of Biology, NANO Technology Centre of Chemistry Faculty and other laboratories and centres. The German scientists will hold 5-day training on molecular genetics to build a professional relationship with BSU.
