The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers approved the rules for registration (accreditation) of the organizations governing the rights of authors and owners of adjacent property rights on a collective basis.
The purpose of accreditation is to authorize the organization to conduct activity in the relevant area within the duties and tasks defined by its charter, the Cabinet of Ministers told Trend on Monday.
The Copyright Agency deals with the accreditation of the organizations. A special commission is being created in the agency to accredit the organization.
Its staff is approved by the chairman of the agency. Application for accreditation must be signed and submitted to the agency by the head of the organization.
The rules also specify the grounds for refusal and withdrawal of accreditation.
