Cyclist run over by car in Azerbaijan

A cyclist was run over by a car in Khachmaz region of Azerbaijan.

The accident took place in the town of Khachmaz, local police said. Cyclist Verdiyev Zaur Zakir, 30 was run over by a car driven by local resident Rza Abdullayev when he was crossing the road.

Zaur Abdullayev was seriously injured and hospitalized.

Khacham region’s police office launched investigation into the fact.
