Man kills wife in Azerbaijan’s capital

A man killed his young wife in Baku. The incident took place at 179, Abdulla Shaig Street, Yasamal district of the capital city.

22-year-old Royal Rovshan Zulfugarov killed his wife, 19-year-old Farida Vugar Zulfugarova slaughtering her with a knife. The woman died at site. Zulfugarov knifed 23-year-old Farid Mahmudov, whom he found near his wife. Seriously injured Mahmudov was hospitalized.

Zulfugarov was detained. According to the preliminary version, the murder was committed because of jealousy. Yasamal district prosecutor’s office launched investigation into the incident.
