President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Mahmud Karimov leaves for Vienna to attend IAEA’s 55th session

The delegation led by President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Mahmud Karimov has left for Vienna (Austria) to attend the 55th session of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), press service of the academy said.

The 55th session of IAEA has started today and will last for five days. Representatives from 151 member states will attend the session.

Technical cooperation among the IAEA member states, action plan on nuclear security after the disaster in Fukusima nuclear power plant, cancer therapy will be discussed at the session.
