Extraordinary stone found in Azerbaijan's Tovuz region – PHOTO

An extraordinary finding was discovered in Esrik Jirdakhan village of Azerbaijan's Tovuz region. According to ""Türkel TV"" 16-year-old villager Murad Guliyev found a strange stone while doing cleaning near a river. The villagers nearby were astonished seeing this stone. The stone was strange mainly for its lines.

Tovuz region deputy executive head on education, health and culture Fikret Tagiyev said that this region is one of the ancient dwelling places in the South Caucasus. Therefore, such kind of finding here is natural.

However, according to department head of the Archeological and Ethnographic Institute of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences Farhad Guliyev, the stone does not bare any scientific value and such stones are just one of natural miracles.
