Azerbaijan seriously struggles against grave crimes such as corruption and money-laundering”, said member of the Azerbaijan’s Commission on Combating Corruption, MP Bakhtiyar Aliyev at the closing ceremony of the “Support for Anti-Corruption Department under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan” Twinning project.

Aliyev noted that the corruption was a very serious social trouble and said that the government of Azerbaijan was taking serous measures against it: “We always cooperate closely with the European Union to combat corruption”.

Learning the international experience is very important for us. Some amendments were made in the legislation in the field of anti-corruption. Every proposal in this direction is considers. I announce once again that today Azerbaijan takes serious anti-corruption measures”.
