23 large-caliber ammunitions found in mud volcano area of Garadagh district

23 large-caliber ammunitions were found in the area of mud volcanoes in Garadagh district of Baku, the Azerbaijani State Agency for Mine Actions (ANAMA) said.

The UXO-clearance started in the territory a month ago by order of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources. 423 of 2740 ha were cleared until now by ANAMA.

Once the territory was a firing range and the exercises of military aviation and artillery were held there.
